Our Business Philosophy
The objective of our business is to provide high quality kite reels for discriminating flyers. Why fly with the same
mass produced plastic reel that everyone else uses? Try a custom wood reel individually crafted to suit your needs.
Our Employees
Employees play an important role in any business. Bias Boards is a family run father/son venture. Eugene Bias is
a retired mechanical engineer with over 50 years of experience working with wood. Curtis Bias, his son, is an artist and avid
kite flyer with over 15 years of experience working with wood. The two work as a team through the entire building process.
Eugene designs and builds many of the tools and jigs used for the process. Curtis enjoys designing, and turning the reels
on the shops lathe.
